The Stone Ridge Visitor Information & Community Center is located at 24609 Nettle Mill Square. The 5,000 square foot building is home to the Visitor Information Center for the Stone Ridge Community and also houses several homeowner amenities. The Visitor Information Center is the first stop in the tour of homes at Stone Ridge. Here, prospective buyers can look at the unique, colorful and interactive community map and can speak to staff members about the plans for the Stone Ridge Community.

The Visitor Information & Community Center features many amenities for the Stone Ridge homeowners. There is a high-tech Theatre Room with theatre-style seating, a lending Library, a self-serve Cafe for coffee and other refreshments that is equipped with wireless Internet capabilities, a Fitness Room and an open community room with tables. The bathrooms in the building serve as locker rooms and access to the Social Pool to the rear of the facility. The building also boasts a beautiful patio and courtyard, an event lawn, a gazebo and swings for relaxing and the fabulous amphitheatre stage for community gatherings, shows and concerts! Members of the HOA staff are also located onsite. More information about these amenities can be found below.

Hours of Operation: The business hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Saturday.

Fitness Room View Picture

The fitness room is located in the Community Center at 24609 Nettle Mill Square. The Fitness Room features a variety of modern, top of the line cardio and strength training equipment, including: Stairmaster Treadmills, Precor Elliptical Machines, Life Cycle stationary recumbent and upright bicycles and a Cybex Strength and Conditioning System. The Fitness Room is complete with multiple LCD televisions with DirecTV and a stereo sound system. Homeowners must have an identification card to use the facility during business hours and an after-hours access card for non-business hours.

The hours of operation of the fitness facility are as follows: Every day from 5:00am to 10:00pm

Social Pool & Jacuzzi View Picture

The social pool is located at 24609 Nettle Mill Square at the rear of the Community Center. The social pool is 5ft. deep in the center and 3ft. deep at either end of the oval shaped pool with seating built in around the perimeter designed for relaxing, talking with friends or just soaking up the sun! The deck of the pool is complete with lounge chairs, tables, umbrella tables, and plenty of shade provided by beautiful wooden trellises. Residents will also find that a Jacuzzi, beautiful landscaping and music from the sound system completes the oasis that is the social pool.

Residents must present identification cards to utilize the pools. Each homeowner is given one free 5-visit guest card at the start of each pool season. Additional guest passes can be purchased at the Community Center during normal business hours.

Hours of Operation: Open Memorial Day to Labor Day. On weekdays while school is in session, the pool will be open from 3:00pm to 8:00pm and on weekends from 10:00am to 8:00pm. Starting June 14th the pool is open seven days a week (weekends, weekdays and holidays) from 10:00am to 8:00pm.

Greenstone Pool Complex View Picture

The Greenstone Pool Complex is centrally located on Greenstone Drive at Stone Springs Blvd., directly across from the county park. This facility opened in mid Summer 2005. The complex includes a 25-meter, 8-lane lap pool, an attached pool with a stepped-entry area, a water spray park for the kids, a baby pool, bathrooms and changing rooms, and plenty of deck space covered with chairs for lounging.

Amidst the lush landscaping surrounding the pool, homeowners will find other amenities for their use, including: lighted tennis courts, a multi-purpose court, a tot lot and trail connections. Click here to view the original Greenstone Pool Complex rendering.

The Theatre Room is located in the Community Center at 24609 Nettle Mill Square and is equipped with the finest entertainment equipment. Homeowners can sit in theatre style seating, turn on the surround sound and watch with awe as their favorite team brings in a victory on the 42-inch plasma TV!

Hours of Operation: The business hours are seven days a week from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The office is open late on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings until 9:00 pm

Lending Library View Picture

Books galore! If reading is your favorite pastime, then you will definitely want to make use of the Lending Library located in the Community Center at 24609 Nettle Mill Square. Stone Ridge has collected hundreds of books, many popular titles and authors to select from. The library contains selections appropriate for all ages. Under the honor code, homeowners can check out up to 5 books at a time, just by filling out the check out log. Interested in donating books to the library? Contact the staff at the Community Center.

Outdoor entertainment for homeowner enjoyment at its finest. The Amphitheatre is located on the grounds of the Community Center at 24609 Nettle Mill Square. A variety of spring, summer and fall entertainment will grace the stage at Stone Ridge.

The Stone Ridge Community has several tot lots located throughout the community. A perfect place to run, jump and play!

Retail - Stone Ridge Village Center View Website

In addition to the residential community and array of amenities, Stone Ridge features it's very own Village Center. This state of that art shopping center is anchored by Harris Teeter grocery store. The Village Center also features a Wendy's, Walgreen's, Glory Days Grill, Daily Grind Coffee Shop, Luna Day Spa, Bank of American and many other shopping amenities. The Village Center opened in the Fall of 2005 and continues to expand. 7-Eleven will be opening soon!

County Park View Picture

This 26 acre park is managed by the Loudoun County Parks and Recreation Authority. Located in the center of Stone Ridge, residents can walk to the county park and enjoy three baseball/softball fields and three soccer fields. The county park opened in the Summer of 2006. The park was constructed by Van Metre and is owned and managed by the county.
